Position OverviewKey Responsibilities:
This role involves supporting the management, planning, development, delivery, and life-cycle oversight of innovative video products and features, platform improvements, and cutting-edge technologies for FiOS IPTV.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership in product development, possess systems analysis capabilities, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories/journeys.
This position will collaborate directly with internal development teams as well as key external stakeholders and product owners.
Responsibilities will encompass various support activities for essential product management deliverables, including documentation of product requirements, performance metrics for product lines, and coordination among cross-functional teams.
Additional Duties Include:
- Analyzing market trends, conducting competitive assessments, and evaluating impacts/opportunities for new video initiatives.
- Creating business and product requirements documents, prioritizing features, developing use-cases, and crafting user stories.
- Engaging hands-on with development, QA, design, business, marketing, and operations teams to effectively design, build, and launch product features.
- Formulating Software/Network requirements and functional specifications, providing leadership in solutions throughout the development cycle.
- Contributing to the formulation of product and platform positioning, feature development roadmaps, and service requirements.
- Preparing presentations on project initiatives for mid and upper management on a regular basis.
- Collaborating on various aspects of product management for a MVPD video service, with an emphasis on DVR functionality, Merchandising, Service Assurance, and OSS integration.
- The successful candidate should anticipate close collaboration with Release Engineering to solidify the release cadence and build process for Content Management System delivery.
Qualifications Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Technical Product Management.
- Experience with consumer video products and technologies or Content Management Systems.
- Experience in new product development within a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Prior exposure or experience with business case processes and development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with large project teams in a matrix organization is preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, external business partners, and software vendors in a dynamic environment.

- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven leadership skills.
- A degree in a business or technology field is required; an MS is preferred, along with experience in Software Development.
- Familiarity with requirements and bug tracking tools like JIRA and Confluence is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel for business within the United States (less than 25%).
- A solid understanding of the software development process.
- A proven track record of delivering quality products and/or systems.
