Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Chassis Product Manager to spearhead the development of Supermicro's server chassis products. This role involves overseeing product design and specifications, managing timelines, and ensuring successful product launches and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
As a pivotal member of our team, you will:
  • Oversee the complete product life cycle of server chassis, from conception and specification to mass production and ongoing support.
  • Develop and present a comprehensive roadmap for chassis products.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to refine product specifications and designs, focusing on mechanical, thermal, and system architecture aspects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to guarantee timely product launches and deliveries.
  • Engage with overseas ODM vendors for chassis design, development, tooling, and production ramp-up.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to strategize new product launches and promotional activities.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A BS/MS degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the server or IT hardware industry.
  • Proven experience in product development and management, particularly in server chassis mechanical and thermal design.
  • Strong understanding of server system architecture and related hardware applications.
  • Ability to navigate between technical details and overarching business strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • A capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $156,000 - $181,000, dependent on various factors including location, experience, and skills. In addition to a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package is offered, along with potential participation in bonus and equity award programs.
