Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Conversio Health is seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to manage the ordering, stocking, packaging, and processing of medications within our pharmacy. We welcome individuals with a keen interest in compounding, and training will be provided for those without prior experience. Our benefits package includes reimbursement for pharmacy technician license renewals, flexible scheduling options (choose between five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts), and a commitment to no night or weekend work.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and compounding of sterile pharmaceutical products.
- Ensuring the clean room adheres to USP 797 and USP 800 standards.
- Conducting area clearance, verifying batch supplies, and entering data into the computer system.
- Documenting IV admixture processes and conducting clean room sterility tests.
- Utilizing all necessary laboratory equipment for compounding.
- Assembling, inspecting, and verifying compounding components.
- Calibrating and documenting the use of scales and electronic meters.
- Following all safety protocols and USP guidelines for the preparation of compounding I.V. solutions.
- Completing order entries and refills under the supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge.
- Timely completion of documentation such as labels, log sheets, and reports.
- Assisting with inventory management and storage solutions.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid and current California Pharmacy Technician license is required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while working under a vertical or horizontal hood.
- Capability to wear all required protective gear as per facility SOPs, including masks, gloves, gowns, hairnets, and safety goggles.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- National certification (PTCB) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliable commuting or relocation plans to the area before starting work are essential.
