Industry Insight and Analysis:
- Remain informed about industry developments, market trends, and emerging talent within the mining, natural resources, and construction fields.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of client organizations, their strategic goals, and the specific criteria for executive positions.
Business Development:
- Explore potential business avenues within the mining, natural resources, and construction industries by networking with key industry figures, participating in relevant events, and keeping abreast of market changes.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to formulate strategies aimed at expanding the company’s client portfolio and enhancing existing client partnerships.
- Drive growth by proactively presenting recruitment services to prospective clients, emphasizing the firm’s value proposition and expertise.
- Engage with clients to understand their long-term talent acquisition strategies and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and proposals that effectively showcase the company’s capabilities and services to potential clients.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor actions to uncover opportunities for differentiation and innovation in recruitment practices.
- Document and analyze business development efforts, including client interactions, proposals, and revenue outcomes, to assess effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
Talent Sourcing and Recruitment:
- Proactively seek and engage high-level executives, managers, and professionals within the targeted sectors.
- Employ diverse sourcing techniques, including networking, online platforms, direct outreach, and participation in industry events.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with client organizations to comprehend their business objectives and staffing requirements.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, offering insights on market trends, talent availability, and industry benchmarks.
Candidate Evaluation and Selection:
- Conduct thorough candidate evaluations, including interviews, reference checks, and skills assessments.
- Ensure that candidates presented align with the client’s expectations and organizational culture.
Negotiation and Offer Management:
- Facilitate negotiations between clients and candidates, ensuring a mutually beneficial agreement.
- Provide guidance on compensation packages, relocation, and other pertinent terms.
Market Intelligence and Mapping:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of industry professionals and potential candidates.
- Deliver market intelligence to clients, including salary trends, competitor analysis, and talent landscape insights.
International Recruitment:
- Oversee recruitment processes for positions in international markets, considering legal and cultural factors.
- Stay updated on international employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Recruiter, preferably within the mining, natural resources, construction sectors, or heavy civil.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific requirements, trends, and key players.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a professional environment.
