About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at North End Teleservices, LLC. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Management: Oversee the entire purchase order process, ensuring timely and accurate issuance of purchase orders in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Vendor Evaluation and Contract Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new and existing vendors. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Cost Control and Analysis: Collaborate with the finance team to track and manage procurement costs. Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Inventory Management and Forecasting: Monitor inventory levels and work with internal departments to forecast procurement needs. Ensure that stock levels are maintained to support business operations without overstocking.
  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant legal requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Supplier Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess supplier performance and ensure that vendors meet quality and delivery expectations. Address and resolve any issues related to supplier performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions that align with the company's objectives. Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Insights: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance to the Chief Financial Officer. Provide insights and recommendations for strategic procurement planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or relevant working experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with procurement software.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
