We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Negotiator and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Scout Motors. As a key member of our procurement and contracts team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Provide strategic advice and counseling on commercial matters, including procurement decisions, and draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Regularly review the contract process to ensure accountability and compliance with company policies and procedures, and prepare related reports and documentation.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with the Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, and Sales Teams.
  • Process Improvement: Develop form documentation, templates, procedures, and training for the Purchasing and Supply Chain Teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or similar discipline, J.D. from an accredited law school preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a contracts manager or equivalent with a medium to large company, ideally in the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, preferably experience with supplier and manufacturing-related agreements, and experience with contract lifecycle management software.
