Senior Program Manager / Client Account Manager

CTI and Associates is seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our team as a Senior Program Manager / Client Account Manager for our Department of Defense business portfolio.

This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and expanding our expertise, business volume, and gross margin with specific DOD client accounts.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the DOD market, specifically USACE, AFCEC, and NAVFAC organizations, environmental restoration/remediation requirements, and a proven track record in managing and developing successful environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management / Client Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for several DOD customers, providing expert-level customer engagement with leadership in those organizations.
  • Act as Program Manager / Contract Manager on various IDIQ contracts with assigned customers.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to Project Managers, project teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Business Development:

Lead efforts to differentiate CTI, identify, and secure new business opportunities to grow a sustainable pipeline.

Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals, develop marketing strategies, and expand the firm's client base in this area.

Project Management:

Provide oversight and guidance to assigned Project Managers for the execution of environmental projects related to site investigation, remediation, and Emerging Contaminants from inception to completion.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of environmental engineering and scientific professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Provide mentoring, coaching, and support for professional development and career growth within the practice.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure the highest standards of quality and technical excellence in all projects.

Conduct regular reviews to ensure deliverables meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay abreast of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to critical DOD missions and provide senior-level guidance to project teams in adhering to environmental compliance requirements.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams within CTI, including other practice leads, technical experts, program and project managers, and senior management, to foster a multidisciplinary approach providing outstanding customer care and the highest quality of service.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental, chemical, or related engineering or science programs; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Registration or Certification required (i.e., PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, etc.).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental consulting and remediation and at least 10 years of experience working for the Department of Defense.
  • Proven project management experience, including successful project delivery and budget management.
  • Strong business acumen and experience in business development, client relationship management, and proposal preparation.
  • Expert-level leadership and team-building skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Expert ability to develop requisite client relationships and a strong book of business.
  • Expert ability to build and leverage alliances with other firms and industry partners.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States of America.
  • CTI is a Drug-Free Workplace - Must pass pre-hire drug screen.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
