Expectations:

  • Morning availability is essential, as our leaders set the tone during busy breakfast hours.
  • Salaried managers typically work 50 hours per week, while hourly roles are around 40 hours.
  • Weekend availability is required.
  • Open availability is preferred.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Train staff in food preparation, customer service, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to uphold standards and systems.
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and adherence to standards.
  • Evaluate employee performance and work procedures to maintain quality standards.
  • Oversee scheduling, assign duties, and manage responsibilities according to position requirements.
  • Receive and verify food and beverage deliveries for accuracy and quality.
  • Assist in personnel actions, including hiring and termination, in consultation with other managers.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance schedules are followed and arrange for necessary repairs.
  • Accurately handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Engage with guests throughout their dining experience and address any complaints regarding food quality, service, or facilities.
  • Maintain accurate restaurant opening and closing procedures.
  • Work with management to develop departmental objectives, budgets, policies, and strategies.
  • Monitor budgets and payroll records, reviewing financial transactions to ensure authorized expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, OSHA, and fire regulations.
