Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hearing Specialist to join our team at VA Ear Nose Throat Associates.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Diagnostics and Testing: Conduct hearing tests, tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, otoacoustic emissions, auditory brainstem response testing, electrocochleography, and electronystagmography testing.
  • Hearing Aid Fittings: Fit and maintain hearing aids for patients of all ages.
  • Patient Care: Provide written reports for diagnostic testing and assist with marketing activities.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with the department and attend staff meetings.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Audiology or a related field.
  • Virginia state licensure in Audiology and a Virginia state license for Hearing Aid Specialists.
  • CCC-A or board certification is preferred.
Work Environment

This is a combination office and exam/procedure room setting with well-lighted, well-ventilated, and adequate space.
