Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Connecticut Children's. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment and performing a variety of procedures on pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate general radiologic and CT Scan imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Perform a range of procedures on pediatric inpatients and outpatients, applying prescribed ionizing radiation under the supervision of a physician.
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality, ensuring excellent diagnostic results.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of exams.
  • Provide education and training to new technologists, students, and Radiology Residents on radiologic technology skills and procedures.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiologic Technology program.
  • Board eligibility and licensure by the State of Connecticut, with CT board certification within one year of employment.
  • Current State of Connecticut Radiographer License and Computer Tomography board certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous pediatric experience.
