Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Health Carousel - Travel Allied. As a travel allied health professional, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings and locations across the United States.

Job Summary:

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for assisting in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including fluoroscopy and angiography. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of medical imaging principles.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including fluoroscopy and angiography
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and draping
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography machines
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide support as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure details
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • 2+ years of experience in interventional radiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of medical imaging principles
