Clinical Support Specialist Job Description

MediTelecare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical facilitation and administrative support to our clinicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite clinical facilitation, including assisting patients with behavioral health visits and supporting clinicians with telehealth visits.
  • Assist with chart preparation, data entry, and other administrative duties.
  • Act as a liaison between clinicians and facility staff, interacting with staff and family members as needed.
  • Maintain responsibility for proper handling and cleaning of MediTelecare equipment.
  • Complete assigned number of Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) cases within the required timeline.
Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma required.
  • 1+ year in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
  • Medical Assistant or CNA certification a plus.
  • Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience in the use of online healthcare tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • A dedicated home office space with a closing door that is free from distractions and meets HIPAA and PHI standards.
  • A reliable home internet connection.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable mode of transportation.
  • The ability to travel up to 1 hour in any direction from home office to cover clinics when needed.
