Auditory Services Assistant Wanted

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team at Happy Ears Hearing Center as an Auditory Services Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a positive impact on patient lives.

About the Role:

As an Auditory Services Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our audiologists and patients in various aspects of auditory services. This includes coordinating and organizing clerical tasks, maintaining patient records, and ensuring seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and organize clerical tasks, including scheduling/tracking appointments, collecting payments, managing inventory, maintaining a clean work environment, basic hearing aid cleanings, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain patient records and update them accurately
  • Maintain good and appropriate patient relationships
  • Exercise confidentiality relating to all business and patient information
  • Distribute electronic intake forms and assist patients in properly completing paper intake forms if necessary
  • Check in hearing devices and ensure they are ready to go prior to patient appointments
  • Maintain office schedule to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Collect and record payments
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks and prioritize appropriately
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of compassion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with hearing loss is a plus
  • Excellence in customer care

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
