Job Overview

The Happy Ears Hearing Center is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for patients in our busy Audiology clinic. The ideal candidate will be welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about healthcare practices.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with audiologists, patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Create personal goals and monitor progress toward goals, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information in EMR systems, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Distribute electronic intake forms and assist patients in completing paper forms, providing exceptional customer service
  • Prepare hearing devices for patient appointments, checking in equipment and ensuring it's ready for use
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Care Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in an audiology setting
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced situations and make sound decisions quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a high level of compassion and a respectful demeanor when interacting with patients
