DSJ Global, a prominent player in the food and beverage sector, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to oversee initiatives at our manufacturing and distribution facilities. This role is pivotal in shaping the growth and development of our workforce, from entry-level positions to senior management.

Lean Manufacturing Development:

  • Engage with diverse teams to integrate a lean manufacturing framework into our strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to pinpoint areas for waste reduction and enhance operational performance.
  • Drive innovative improvements by applying lean principles throughout the organization.

Employee Training and Development:

  • Instruct staff on lean manufacturing methodologies, including 5S, PPS, TPM, the 7 wastes, SPC, and SOP.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through regular training sessions and workshops.

Comprehensive Training Program:

  • Design and implement a thorough training curriculum for employees.
  • Establish training matrices and records for individual staff members to ensure continuous skill enhancement.
  • Partner with external training organizations to provide specialized training opportunities.

Leadership and Coaching:

  • Mentor and develop direct reports to improve their skills and overall performance.

Business Improvement Support:

  • Extend lean initiatives beyond manufacturing to encompass other business functions such as Sales, Planning, Distribution, and Marketing.
  • Assist in the organization's Total Business Excellence Model (TBEM) submissions by implementing identified improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Demonstrated success in executing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Proven ability to deliver lasting benefits through education and coaching in CI tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4 Hana or similar systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across functions.
  • Effective leadership and talent development capabilities.
  • A proactive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to driving change.
  • Numerical and financial acumen.
  • Ability to positively influence others.
  • Relevant improvement certifications (e.g., Lean qualification, Lean Six Sigma) are advantageous.
