Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive procedures for manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, and engineering to ensure product quality meets both customer and company standards.
  • Formulate a continuous improvement strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives.
  • Conduct regular financial assessments to ensure all initiatives and projects are on track to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Create internal processes to present performance metrics and financial analyses to senior management, including the development of dashboards and scorecards for various operational functions.
  • Oversee the manufacturing operations to ensure efficient order processing, accurate inventory management, timely receipt and stocking of goods, cost-effective shipping, and effective returns processing.
  • Recommend and establish manufacturing policies that support the organization’s competitive edge and profitability.
  • Guide and monitor departmental processes and personnel to achieve the manufacturing plan's objectives, including the establishment of operational KPIs and safety protocols.
  • Identify opportunities for productivity enhancements and cost reductions, and oversee the implementation of production standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing management, particularly in process-oriented operations.
  • Practical experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing techniques, methods, and equipment is required.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills are crucial.

Note: This position involves oversight of multiple manufacturing facilities, with a significant focus on operational excellence and employee engagement.
