The successful candidate will play a vital role in verifying that construction activities adhere to contractual obligations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supervising the sampling and testing processes for materials utilized in highway and roadway projects
  • Conducting daily oversight of the contractor's quality assurance measures
  • Executing technical tasks related to field surveying and construction layout
  • Analyzing construction plans, standards, and specifications
  • Prioritizing safety and executing work in a secure manner

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction inspection, particularly in bridge and/or roadway projects
  • Possession of Arkansas CTTP certification is advantageous
  • Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication abilities
  • A valid Arkansas driver's license and the capability to pass a motor vehicle record evaluation
  • Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel applications
