  • Adhere to Established Policies and Procedures: Adhere to the established policies and procedures of the Municipal Golf Association to ensure compliance and consistency in all aspects of golf operations.
  • Assist with Golf Services and Operations: Assist with all golf services and operations, including the rental and maintenance of golf cars, to ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
  • Answer and Direct Incoming Calls: Answer and direct all incoming calls, taking messages when appropriate, to ensure prompt and efficient communication with our customers.
  • Assist with Tee Time Booking and Monitoring: Assist with the booking of tee times, starting, and monitoring of play to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our customers.
  • Track and Verify Player Registration: Track and verify that all players and guests register and facilitate proper controls to ensure compliance with golf course usage regulations.
  • Assist with Tournament and Event Organization: Assist all tournament, play day, and clinic directors in the organization of events to ensure a successful and enjoyable experience for our customers.
  • Meet and Greet Prospective Customers: Meet, greet, and welcome prospective customers to promote a positive and inclusive experience.
  • Adhere to Golf Course Usage Regulations: Adhere to all rules and regulations governing golf course usage to ensure compliance and consistency in all aspects of golf operations.
  • Assist with Practice Facility Operations: Assist with the operations of the practice facility to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our customers.
  • Assist with Merchandise Sales and Equipment Rental: Assist in the sale of merchandise and rental of equipment to ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
  • Adhere to Cash and System Controls: Adhere to cash and system controls to ensure the safekeeping of assets and inventory.
  • Assist with Physical Inventories and Merchandise Display: Assist with physical inventories and the display of merchandise to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing pro shop.
  • Initiate and Implement Safety Regulations: Initiate and implement safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Promote Sales and Golf Specials: Promote sales and golf specials to increase revenue and drive business growth.
  • Operate the Picker: Operate the picker to mechanically retrieve golf balls on the driving range.
  • Perform Marshalling Duties: Perform marshalling duties when needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our customers.
  • Maintain Compliance with TABC Seller/Server Guidelines: Maintain compliance with TABC Seller/Server guidelines to ensure responsible and compliant service.
  • Maintain the Communication Log Book: Maintain the Communication Log Book during each shift to ensure accurate and efficient communication with our customers.
  • Oversee and Collect Fees: Oversee and collect fees for all golf-related activities, clean and restock the pro shop and restrooms, and conduct regular maintenance to ensure a well-maintained and welcoming facility.
Requirements
  • Valid State-Issued Driver's License: Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.
  • TABC/Texas Food Handler Certification: Employer-paid TABC/Texas Food Handler Certification within 2 weeks of employment.
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills: Ability to work with others (teamwork) and available to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays.
