Job Overview

Outsourced Bookkeeping Solutions is a leading provider of outsourced bookkeeping services, seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role will be responsible for handling the fundamental aspects of our clients' financial record-keeping, including:

  • Recording Financial Transactions
  • Reconciling Bank / Credit Card / Loan statements
  • Payroll Processing
  • Sales Tax Filing
  • Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
  • Preparing Monthly Financial Statements
  • Reviewing Financial Statements

This position will start out at approximately 20 hours (4-5 hours/day, Tuesday-Friday), but could quickly become full-time if the candidate has the appropriate skill set.

We are looking for a professional with experience in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, as well as knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, and basic accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and be able to prioritize workflow and work independently.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in accounting, or post-secondary education in a finance or business field
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, and basic accounting principles
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to prioritize workflow and work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a finance or business field
  • Experience in a similar role
