Job Summary:

The Assembler I will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and inspecting various firearms, as well as performing quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our rigorous standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and disassemble firearms, including slide assembly, frame assembly, and configuration modification.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our standards.
  • Use small hand tools and machinery to complete tasks, requiring manual dexterity and basic safety awareness.
  • Participate in 5S workplace organizational activities and maintain a clean and organized working area.
  • May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
  • May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically requires no previous experience.
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to demonstrate a continued desire to learn and interpret information clearly and accurately.
Working Conditions:
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • Work is primarily standing (90 + % of the shift) except for lunch and break periods.
  • Shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours.
  • The duties of this job normally require exposure to a typical manufacturing area where frequent standing, sitting, stooping/squatting, walking and stair climbing can be expected along with frequent lifting and/or moving of tooling, parts, containers, and materials up to 40 pounds.
