I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
- Encourage a deeper understanding of faith through the exploration of religious studies and humanities.
- Inspire a passion for learning in every student.
- Promote an appreciation for the world around us.
- Encourage creativity and critical thinking in students' intellectual and spiritual development.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement effective instructional strategies.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain open communication with families.
- Employ diverse teaching methods to cater to the needs of 5th-grade learners.
- Establish and uphold classroom routines and expectations.
- Oversee student conduct and engagement.
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and address incidents as necessary.
- Comply with institutional policies and guidelines.
- Must be an active member of the Catholic faith.
- Possess a valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
- Adhere to Archdiocesan Safe Environment Standards.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere that enhances student learning.
- Support school initiatives and community events.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
