As a Financial Services Consultant, your responsibilities will include assessing members' needs, providing financial literacy, and offering customized solutions to help them reach their financial aspirations.

Compensation:
$48,000 - $56,000

Key Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life of a Financial Services Consultant

Your daily activities will vary, but here’s a glimpse of what you will be doing:

- Begin your day at your designated branch and participate in a team meeting to discuss daily objectives and updates.
- Welcome members as they enter the branch and serve as a resource for their inquiries.
- Engage with members to understand their financial objectives and educate them on available products and services.
- Facilitate account openings, process loan applications, respond to member inquiries, and manage transactions.
- Acquire knowledge of all credit union offerings through training and self-directed learning.
- Follow up with members to check on new account activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales and referral targets.
- Act as a leader within the branch, mentoring and serving as a positive role model for other team members.
- Address escalated issues to effectively resolve critical member concerns.

Qualifications:
What You Need to Succeed

The following skills and experiences are essential for your success:
- 3-5 years of experience in customer service or consultative sales.
- Proven analytical, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to learn a broad range of information and continuously develop your skills in a supportive environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships while delivering exceptional service.
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and collaborative spirit in a dynamic work setting.
- Natural ability to lead and influence others.
- Proficiency in using personal computers and office software.

Desirable but not mandatory attributes:
- 1-2 years of experience in a financial institution or retail leadership role.
- Familiarity with new accounts, savings products, and consumer lending.
- Experience in consultative sales.
