What You Will Be Doing
This role involves mechanical HVAC service and repair tasks. We will provide you with the necessary tools to ensure you perform your duties to the highest standards.

Your Responsibilities
As a probationary employee, you will:
1. Execute mechanical equipment service and other tasks assigned by the employer, based on your capabilities.
2. Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve equipment issues.
3. Respond to basic service calls and keep all parties informed of job progress and any issues that arise.

What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled in an HVAC certificate program.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems (residential or light commercial).
- Ability to perform general building maintenance.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
- A valid driver's license.
- Willingness to engage in on-the-job training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in HVAC-related applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA Refrigeration certification is a plus.

Important Note
This position is part of a bargaining unit but is subject to all pre-hiring screening processes of Johnson Controls. With successful performance, there may be opportunities for you to be recommended for the Union Local 102 apprenticeship program, along with continued employment at Johnson Controls.
