Geography Instructor

Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified part-time geography instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching human geography and physical geography courses.
Responsibilities:- Teach geography courses to students at the community college level.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Master's degree in geography or a related field.
- Teaching experience at the community college level.
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will work in an indoor office environment with regular interactions with students, faculty, and staff. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, as well as lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
