Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Part-Time Geography Instructor. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Human Geography and Physical Geography courses.
Responsibilities:- Teach courses in Human Geography and Physical Geography.
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of students.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals.
- Master's degree in Geography or a related field.
- Experience in teaching and curriculum development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
The successful applicant will work in an indoor office environment and will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. The ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds is also required.
