Flex Production Operator (Operator)
SHIFT:
We offer flexible shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, typically from 5 AM to 5 PM. This role is designed to accommodate various personal schedules, whether you are balancing school, family, or other commitments.
A minimum of 16 hours per week is required, with shifts distributed across production hours.
COMPENSATION:
The hourly wage is $24.28.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Production Operator serves as a vital member of the manufacturing team, executing processes that enhance the quality and value of raw materials, ultimately leading to the creation of high-quality finished products.
Responsibilities may include receiving and managing raw materials, applying various proprietary processes, and packaging the end products.
Throughout all production stages, a strong emphasis on safety, attention to detail, quality control, and operational efficiency is essential for success.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Age: Must be 18 years or older
- Comprehension: Ability to read, write, understand, and follow both verbal and written instructions, as well as perform basic mathematical calculations
- Critical Thinking: Employing logic and reasoning to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of various solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Safety: Commitment to ensuring personal and co-worker safety at all times
- Time Management: Punctuality and reliability in completing tasks by set deadlines, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Coordination: Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve collective goals
- Active Learning: Recognizing the implications of new information for current and future problem-solving
- Active Listening: Fully engaging with others, understanding their points, and asking relevant questions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and involves frequent movement, including walking, standing, bending, and other physical activities. Operators must be capable of performing tasks while wearing personal protective equipment and working in varying temperature environments, which may include exposure to dust and chemicals.
Shift schedules may include days, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays, with the possibility of overtime.
