Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Scheduler Manager to join our team at TalentBurst. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production scheduling, with experience in creating and maintaining schedules that meet labor and asset capacities. They will be able to drive optimization of schedules by balancing demand priorities against optimal production sequencing and efficient resource utilization.

About the Role
  • Create, track, and maintain schedules to provide visibility to defined departments and drive short-term execution of plans.
  • Incorporate input from all relevant departments to ensure schedules are realistic within relevant constraints and latest information.
  • Drive optimization of schedules by balancing demand priorities against optimal production sequencing and efficient resource utilization.
  • Maintain detailed planning and scheduling parameters in planning systems to allow optimal use of system scheduling functionality.

This role requires excellent analytical skills, with the ability to measure and report metrics (KPIs) and help identify issues through peers. The successful candidate will be proactive, action-oriented, and able to adapt to a changing business environment.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to cGMPs at all times during API manufacture, owning quality and notifying responsible management of regulatory inspections, GMP deficiencies, process deviations, product defects, and related actions.
  • Must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Education or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced level manufacturing experience (5-10 years) in a GMP setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report metrics (KPIs).
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines with potential workload changes and competing demands.
