Position Overview
Axogen is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team as a Financial Analyst. This role is essential in collaborating with various departments across the organization, requiring a proactive individual with a strong drive for efficiency and the confidence to implement changes.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis against benchmarks.
- Maintain headcount reports and coordinate with Human Resources to track authorized open positions.
- Provide monthly updates for capital projects and expenses related to Axogen's objectives.

- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing departmental budget submissions, preparing reporting packages, and offering guidance to business partners throughout the process.

- Become a subject matter expert on our reporting and planning system, eventually handling maintenance tasks, designing reports, retrieving data, and training colleagues on its use.

- Develop financial models by identifying information sources, verifying data, and ensuring data integrity.
- Recommend financial strategies by evaluating options in alignment with organizational goals.
- Contribute to team efforts by performing ad-hoc analyses and fulfilling additional requests as needed.

Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant financial experience in a corporate environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience with Planful is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as Great Plains, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
