About the Role

The Finance Reporting Analyst is a key position within Citigroup Inc. that plays a crucial role in generating, tracking, and submitting financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and US Basel rules.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare different management reports based on US Basel rules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist with financial and management reporting, planning, and analysis, metrics, monitoring, and forecasting.
  • Business Requirements: Document and establish business requirement documents, review test scripts, and interact with business partners to ensure successful migrations of key technology releases.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed.
  • Risk Assessment: Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of previous experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel and Python skills, self-motivated and detail-oriented, strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), and strong team building, planning, and work skills driven by process improvement.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
