Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Configuration Manager to join our team in Washington DC.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing, documenting, and implementing configuration management plans for IT programs, projects, and tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining configuration management plans and activities
  • Updating and maintaining the data model for a large data warehouse
  • Performing data staging using approved Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools and Oracle data repositories
  • Creating and delivering conceptual and Logical Data Models with a metadata dictionary
  • Identifying data warehouse security risks and proposing policy or design changes to mitigate or eliminate these risks
  • Documenting routine and scheduled maintenance procedures
  • Maintaining a historical log of the SQL code in the Configuration Management (CM) system
  • Generating current work package/activity data in JIRA or equivalent software
  • Ensuring all releases and changes are recorded in the CM system
  • Developing, delivering, and executing a comprehensive Change Management Plan

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of CM experience, including usage of CMDBs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements
  • Prior experience in a federal data warehouse and understanding of government procedures and regulations is preferred
