Job Overview

Engineering Services Network, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Configuration Management Assistant to support the Ford Class Aircraft Carrier Configuration Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Configuration Manager in reviewing change documentation, including slides, specification changes proposals, and schedule requests.
  • Coordinate with Systems Engineers, Engineering Agents, and Technical Authorities to resolve system configuration matters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date change documentation and tracking files.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience with US Navy, US Coast Guard, or Military Sealift Command vessels.
  • Good technical writing and communication skills.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Configuration Management experience in ship systems working with or at a shipyard, Naval Surface/Undersea Warfare Center, or Regional Maintenance Center.
  • Experience working with technical authorities and ship program offices.
