Position Overview

Core Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to deliver an unforgettable experience to our guests through engaging interactions, memorable moments, and of course, exceptional BBQ.

Key Duties (including but not limited to)

  • Respond to incoming inquiries
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow staff members
  • Process food orders accurately
  • Package orders ensuring precision and inclusion of all necessary condiments and utensils
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and positive manner
  • Assist with catering order preparations
  • Utilize the Point of Sale system proficiently
  • Manage drive-thru orders
  • Support curbside order fulfillment
  • Help restock supplies as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Composed under pressure
  • Reliable and adaptable with scheduling
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification as required

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience or training in the food service industry
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and math
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, and move items up to 10 pounds
  • Exposure to wet and humid conditions, and familiarity with cleaning agents

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Team members are expected to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to handle cash, transactions, and POS equipment
  • Effective communication with team members is essential
  • Regularly required to walk, stand, bend, lift, and reach
  • Fast-paced environment necessitating frequent interaction with others
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly
  • Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts and cleaning chemicals
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions for up to an 8-hour shift
