Position Overview

Purpose of the Role

The primary objective of this position is to deliver an unforgettable dining experience through engaging interactions, memorable moments, and of course, exceptional BBQ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming phone inquiries
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow team members
  • Process food orders accurately
  • Package orders ensuring all items and condiments are included
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and positive manner
  • Assist with catering order preparations
  • Utilize the Point of Sale system efficiently
  • Handle drive-thru orders with care
  • Support curbside order management
  • Restock supplies as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks at once
  • Remain composed under pressure
  • Dependable with a flexible schedule
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification as required

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in the restaurant sector is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and math
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 10 pounds
  • Exposure to wet or humid conditions and cleaning agents is expected

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Team members must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Handle cash transactions and operate POS equipment
  • Engage in continuous movement including walking, bending, and lifting
  • Work in a fast-paced environment that requires constant interaction with customers
  • Ability to perform essential job functions for up to an 8-hour shift
