We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at NYU Langone Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to anesthesia clinicians, maintaining anesthesia equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist anesthesia clinicians with patient care, including induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Maintain anesthesia equipment, including calibrating and troubleshooting machines
- Ensure anesthesia supplies are stocked and available
- Provide technical support for anesthesia-related procedures, including pain blocks and invasive monitoring
- Communicate effectively with circulating nurses and other healthcare team members
- Graduate of a one-year Anesthesia Technician program or certification from an anesthesia technology program
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills
