We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at NYU Langone Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting anesthesia clinicians with various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock and maintain anesthetic supplies for ORs
- Ensure anesthetic equipment is available and functioning properly
- Assist clinicians with patient care, including medication administration and patient transport
- Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Assist with training and development of Anesthesia Technicians
Requirements:
- Graduate of a one-year Anesthesia Technician program or certification from an anesthesia technology program
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills
