Position Summary

As a Facilities Support Specialist II, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills to assist individuals striving to enhance their lives. Key Responsibilities
  • Due to the sensitive nature of this role, we are only able to consider male candidates.
  • Collaborate with Case Management to oversee guest work therapy schedules (janitorial, kitchen, etc.).
  • Provide training to guests on performing work therapy tasks.
  • Organize and lead safety meetings for guests involved in work therapy.
  • Assist the Support Services Administrator in coordinating volunteer activities.
  • Carry out janitorial tasks, including those from previous shifts.
  • Identify and document safety hazards and maintenance requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections throughout the facility and document findings in the staff log.
  • Address any issues that may arise with individuals during overnight shifts.
  • Respond to emergency calls during overnight hours.
  • Serve as a backup for Guest Services by conducting Breathalyzer tests and Urine Analysis drug screenings for individuals entering the facility after curfew.
  • Assist in covering front desk duties, including phone management and visitor monitoring.
  • Organize and relay messages for clients and staff.
  • Provide referrals for callers as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in a food service or kitchen setting.
  • Food handler's certification is required.
  • Customer service experience is highly preferred.

Work Environment

In this role, you will frequently be required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods in a temperature-controlled environment. You may occasionally need to balance, twist, stoop, kneel, push, pull, grasp, and reach with your hands and arms. You will often wear latex gloves and handle cleaning chemicals. Lifting up to 20 pounds and navigating stairs to access multiple floors may be necessary. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
