Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing routine and advanced respiratory care to patients, managing ventilators, and implementing cardio-respiratory protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine and advanced respiratory care to patients, including ventilator management and cardio-respiratory protocol implementation.
  • Assist physicians with bronchoscopy procedures, including monitoring and assessment of patient vital signs.
  • Initiate and monitor high-frequency ventilators, as well as perform advanced airway care, including tracheotomy changes and extubation.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Respiratory Care or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in New Mexico.
  • Registration as a Respiratory Therapist with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Experience working in a critical care setting, preferably with a ventilator management background.
