**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for assessing, administering, and monitoring therapy and objective measurement for respiratory care procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Administer and monitor respiratory therapy, including oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a CoARC accredited respiratory care program
  • Active New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association
  • Manual dexterity to provide respiratory therapy and operate equipment

Working Conditions:

  • Routine exposure to aerosol or serum-borne pathogens
  • Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
