We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at AtWork Personnel Services. Based in the Sacramento area, this mid-level role will provide technical and business liaison services between our company and external partners.

The primary responsibility of the candidate is to ensure that external partners have the necessary tools and technology to successfully process, manage, and administer insurance policies and claims data.

This full-time remote position may change to a hybrid model in the future, requiring occasional office visits.

Job Requirements
  • Administration of applications and tools for external partners
  • Perform analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation to support internal customers and external business partners for multiple applications
  • Provide solutions and options for reported issues and quality assurance for proposed modifications
  • Ensure that the company meets all Service Level Agreements (SLA) and turnaround times
  • Ability to execute SQL scripts, analyze SQL statements, and perform data analysis
  • Monitor weekly data submissions and take corrective action by investigating and developing resolutions, and communicating with all stakeholders
  • Assist customers with business and technical inquiries, training, error resolution, and data submission issues
  • Support business departments to facilitate change requests, risk analysis, and business requirements
  • Log, track, and investigate support tickets and enhancement requests from other businesses, IT, and vendors. Provide escalation support, monitoring, and resolution
  • Backup team member to support all monthly data submissions to create marketing needs
  • Handle after-hours and on-call duties on a rotating schedule with other teammates
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration or technical fields (CS, Engineering, etc)
  • 3-5 years of general understanding of IT application, data, and IT infrastructure including automation
  • 3-5 years of strong analytical acumen to identify, triage, and recommend troubleshooting with applications
  • Ability to develop, test, and execute SQL scripts required to extract data for analysis and testing - must
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to discuss technical and business topics with customers
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite experience, specifically Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Basic knowledge of insurance terms

Estimated salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year based on location and experience.
