Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on knowledge, skills, and ability.

Job DescriptionThis technical support specialist will provide assistance to the Power System Division by performing various duties.
- Evaluate technical information and take appropriate action.
- Coordinate completion of Caterpillar machine updates.
- Responsible for failure analysis and technical assistance with Power Systems issues.
- Work directly with technicians and supervisors for all technical needs.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Five years of Caterpillar-related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively to groups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A valid class C driver's license and clean DMV report.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud to moderate.
