Job Summary

Tegria is seeking an experienced Allscripts Pro Implementation Specialist to support the implementation of ambulatory practices onto Allscripts Pro EHR. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Allscripts Pro, with a focus on configuration, build, end-user training, and onsite go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement Delivery: Work independently or as part of a healthcare IT project team on a client engagement, serving as a liaison between diverse IT and operations groups.
  • Utilize, review, and create project tools and templates for healthcare IT or operations-focused projects.
  • Create and maintain project plans for go-lives, upgrades, or application implementations as applicable.
  • Evaluate and document current-state processes through discovery and analysis.
  • Build, test, train, convert, and/or deploy new infrastructure, workflows, policies, and processes.
  • Document measurable outcomes resulting from initiatives through KPI analysis and impact tracking.
  • Effectively utilize communication, decision-making, and escalation pathways.
  • Execute effective project wrap-up through outcomes documentation, lessons-learned, and leave-behind materials allowing customers to sustain ongoing operations.
  • Mentor customer counterparts for successful, long-term ownership and growth in their IT or application area.

Internal Tegria Coordination

  • Submit timesheets and expenses at the end of each week without delay.
  • Complete status reports as needed by your client and Tegria.
  • For specific large projects, attend project team check-in calls as needed.
  • Complete onboarding requirements in a timely manner.
  • When your contract is done, return your equipment in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working as an analyst with Allscripts Pro.
  • Experience doing configuration/build, end-user training, and onsite, at-the-elbow go-live support within Allscripts Pro.
  • Comfortable with working remotely and/or traveling to client sites.
  • W2 project-based consultants will be expected to provide a computing device that adheres to industry standards and security best practices to use in satisfying the Project Services on behalf of Tegria.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across multiple healthcare organizations.
  • Prior consulting experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in project, risk, or change management.
  • Formal project management certification – either PMP or CSM.
  • Formal process improvement certification – ex: Lean Six Sigma or ITIL.
