At SMRT Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team of innovative professionals. As a key member of our structural group, you will play a vital role in the design and development of our projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and design structural systems using a variety of materials, including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
  • Interpret and apply building codes and standards to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated design solutions.
  • Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions and inform design decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a consulting or multi-disciplinary office environment.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E) License or significant experience, with the ability and intention to seek licensure.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with structural design software, including RISA, RAM, Tekla, and Enercalc.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design software, specifically Revit and AutoCad.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personal organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to collaborative design solutions.
