Position Overview:

We are in search of a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and ensure the efficient upkeep of all production and processing machinery, aligning with our operational goals.

Work Environment

This position is based in our manufacturing facility that operates around the clock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance of production machinery, refrigeration systems, boiler operations, waste management, and general facility upkeep.
  • Utilize expertise in evaluating the maintenance needs of processing and production systems, ensuring optimal performance through ongoing assessments.
  • Maintain regular communication with production teams to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Provide training to maintenance staff on proper equipment setup, adjustments, and maintenance procedures.
  • Set daily objectives for the maintenance team and assess their achievement.
  • Conduct performance reviews for maintenance personnel and engage in discussions to enhance their skills.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to safely operate around complex, automated machinery in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with maintenance teams and production staff.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Electrical, PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, motion control, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing sector is highly desirable; familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in supervising machine maintenance and repairs within a manufacturing context.
  • A solid track record of prioritizing safety and continuous improvement in an industrial environment.
