Site Safety Manager Position Available

As a Site Safety Manager, your primary duty will be to supervise and uphold the safety standards for all personnel, subcontractors, and the public. Below are the key responsibilities associated with this role:

  • Supervise and uphold safety protocols for all employees, subcontractors, and the public.
  • Implement corporate and project-specific safety and health initiatives, adhering to federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • Support the formulation and execution of tailored safety programs for each project.
  • Recognize existing and potential hazards and suggest remedial measures.
  • Document safety performance specific to the project and outline future safety strategies.
  • Design, coordinate, and execute comprehensive safety programs tailored to each project.
  • Collaborate closely with on-site supervisors to strategize complex safety elements of construction projects, including critical lifts and hazardous material management.
  • Create project-specific safety training modules for all jobsite personnel, including subcontractors.
  • Facilitate third-party safety evaluations, including those from OSHA.
  • Conduct investigations into all accidents and incidents, implementing immediate corrective measures.
  • Equip foremen with relevant training resources for conducting weekly safety briefings. Participate in these meetings to ensure they are effective and informative.
  • Verify that all personnel are supplied with and utilizing the appropriate protective gear and tools necessary for their tasks.
