Job Summary
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for growing our customer base within a specified territory and specialty, representing DistributionNOW as a key point of contact for existing and new business opportunities.
About the Role
This role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with drilling rigs and E&P companies to increase market share and drive revenue growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Maximizing financial results through effective account management and sales strategies
- Improving customer satisfaction and service levels
- Attaining and exceeding sales goals by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts
- Providing regular activity reports to management
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant business experience and product knowledge in the drilling and oil and gas production sectors
- Strong MS Office skills, including Excel and Word, and SAP knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, marketing, and negotiation skills
- Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in teams
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- A strong work ethic, integrity, and positive attitude
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, career growth opportunities, and a friendly work environment.
