Position Summary:
We are in search of dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses to become integral members of our client's esteemed team. As an OB/GYN Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Director of Outpatient Operations and Practice Operations Manager to oversee Medical Assistants, ensuring all competencies and clinical duties are performed accurately and that they are updated on new medical procedures and techniques.
2. Observe, document, and report on patients' conditions, reactions to medications, and treatments, while compiling and recording all relevant laboratory information.
3. Assist physicians during clinical procedures, record patient histories and vital signs, perform venipuncture, administer injections, and prepare specimens for testing.
4. Monitor the use and inventory of medical equipment, surgical instruments, and supplies.
5. Triage calls and provide guidance to appropriate clinicians as necessary.
6. Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the existing laboratory and pathology tracking system.
7. Maintain accurate records of all specimens collected and sent for testing.
8. Manage weekly schedules and coverage for Medical Assistants.
9. Conduct weekly maintenance checks on equipment and emergency supplies.
10. Ensure all medications and injections are properly logged and accounted for.
11. Prepare and administer prescribed medications in accordance with established standards.
12. Track and monitor incidents related to risk management, medication errors, and other patient safety concerns.
13. Assist physicians with patient treatments and department-specific therapies.
14. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and staff training.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience, along with four years of relevant experience.
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
- BCLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of outpatient OB/GYN clinical experience.
- Two years of supervisory experience in a related field.
- ACLS certification.
