Position Summary:
We are in search of dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to become part of our client's esteemed team. - Compensation: Salary range from $105,000.00 to $120,000.00, based on qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Outpatient Operations and Practice Operations Manager to oversee Medical Assistants, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and updating them on new medical practices.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reactions to treatments, and laboratory results.
- Assist physicians during clinical procedures, including recording patient histories, vital signs, and performing venipuncture and injections.
- Manage inventory and ordering of medical supplies and surgical instruments.
- Handle triage calls and provide guidance to appropriate medical staff as needed.
- Support the enhancement and maintenance of laboratory and pathology tracking systems.
- Keep accurate records of specimens collected and sent for analysis.
- Coordinate weekly schedules for Medical Assistants.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of emergency equipment and supplies.
- Document and track all medications and injections administered.
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor and report on risk management incidents and patient safety concerns.
- Assist in various patient treatments and departmental therapies.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives and staff training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience.
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
- BCLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of outpatient OB/GYN clinical experience.
- Two years of supervisory experience in a related field.
- ACLS certification.
