Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with account managers and property managers to ensure efficient and effective maintenance services
  • Provide on-the-job training to crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform tasks efficiently
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing daily schedules with the maintenance manager
  • Oversee job sites and participate in duties such as mowing, edging, weeding, blowing, and removal of landscape debris
  • Assess job site needs and identify potential issues to communicate with account managers
  • Perform loading and unloading of power equipment, tools, materials, and debris each day
  • Verify fuel, oil, and radiator coolant levels for landscape power equipment and vehicles
  • Ensure crew members are using proper safety equipment and operating safely at all times
  • Report liability situations to appropriate departments in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a crew leader
  • Knowledge of regional plant identification and proper pruning techniques
  • Ability to communicate with customers and resolve questions or concerns
  • Understanding of maps and property boundaries/locations
  • Solid reading and writing proficiency
