Job Summary

The Student Accounts Receivable Manager is a key role at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, responsible for the processing, administration, and servicing of student receivables. This position requires exceptional customer support skills, as well as the ability to manage delinquent accounts and collection efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Provide timely and accurate responses to student inquiries, ensuring all communications are professional, appropriate, and follow FERPA guidelines.
  • Receivables Management: Process student billing and refunds, ensure accurate and timely entry of student accounts-related activity, and prepare alternative payment arrangements.
  • Delinquent Accounts: Review holds on past due accounts, provide timely notices to students, and work with collection agencies as necessary.
  • Perkins Loan Program: Monitor status of all Perkins loans, place delinquent or past due accounts with collections, and work with third-party processors to ensure accuracy of account information.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with MCAD, state, and federal regulations regarding application of funds and annual reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Experience: 3 years or more experience working with student accounts receivable strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience required, Jenzabar, Advanced Infomaker, and SQL skills preferred.
