Role Overview
  • Position: Director of Corporate Communications
  • Overview: The President's Office is in search of a seasoned professional to implement effective corporate communication strategies. This role involves:

    1) Enhancing Employee Engagement: Cultivate a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture that inspires employees across global offices.

    2) Strengthening Corporate Brand Identity: Articulate our mission, values, and initiatives to enhance TPCi's reputation as a leading employer and socially responsible organization.

    3) Overseeing Crisis Communication: Collaborate with the crisis management team to safeguard TPCi's corporate image during challenging times.

    You will lead a dedicated team in a collaborative environment and work closely with various departments, including People, DEI & CSR, Legal, Marketing, and other business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities are divided into three main areas:

1) Leadership in Internal Corporate Communications
  • Advocate for Employee Experience: Gain insights into TPCi's brand, culture, and employee sentiments to craft communications that enhance the employee experience.
  • Strategist for Internal Communications: Lead the corporate communications function to promote our vision and objectives, collaborating with executives to define communication needs.
  • Architect of Global Communication: Utilize best practices to develop and enhance communication channels, ensuring effective messaging across all employee touchpoints.
  • Team Leader and Mentor: Build a high-performing corporate communications team, guiding them in establishing communication standards and delivering impactful messages.
  • Champion of Operational Efficiency: Drive improvements in communication processes to ensure timely and consistent messaging across the organization.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Use metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and align them with company objectives.
  • Collaboration with The Pokémon Company, Japan: Partner with the PR team in Japan to ensure cohesive employee messaging.
2) Leadership in External Communications
  • Company Advocacy: Manage external communication channels to ensure alignment with company values and leadership messaging.
  • Employer Branding and Storytelling: Develop strategies to highlight TPCi's legacy and commitment to social responsibility.
3) Leadership in Crisis Communications
  • Protecting TPCi's Reputation: Work with crisis management and key stakeholders to manage communications during critical events.
